A man was mowing his lawn and decided that his hedge needed trimming as well.
Thinking he was being clever he lifted the lawn mower to the top of the hedge with the intent of mowing across the top.
However he lifted it by the bottom rim and consequently cut some or all of his fingers off.
He was at the hospital being treated when another man came into the hospital with all his fingers missing.
He said he was trying to cut his hedge with a lawn mower.
The nurse, understandably, was shocked and said something like "huh?".
The man said "I saw my neighbour do it".
